Match progression
RCB's early dominance and DC's struggle
The match started with RCB winning the toss and choosing to bowl first.
They got an early breakthrough when Varma was dismissed by Singh in the first over.
However, despite a rebuilding effort from Jemimah Rodrigues and her skipper Meg Lanning, DC failed to build on the momentum.
Their partnership was broken when Wareham dismissed Rodrigues for 34 runs off 22 balls, leaving DC at 60/2 in 6.5 overs.
Batting collapse
DC's batting lineup crumbles under RCB's attack
After the dismissals of Rodrigues and Lanning, Annabel Sutherland and Marizanne Kapp tried to stabilize DC's innings.
However, their resistance was broken when Sutherland was dismissed for 19 runs off 13 balls by Singh.
This was the beginning of the end for DC, with their batting crumbling under RCB's brutal assault led by Wareham, Garth Renuka, and Ekta Bisht.
Run chase
RCB's successful run-chase
Chasing DC's paltry 141, RCB openers Mandhana and Danni Wyatt Hodge gave their run-chase a solid start.
Mandhana scored her half-century in just 27 balls, powering RCB's score.
Even after Wyatt was dismissed for 42 runs off 33 balls by Arundhati Reddy, Mandhana didn't stop, taking RCB to the cusp of victory before being dismissed for 81 runs off 47 balls.
