WPL 2025: MI, RCB include Sisodia, Parween as injury replacements

In the latest developments of the 2025 Women's Premier League (WPL), Mumbai Indians (MI) have signed Parunika Sisodia as a replacement for injured player Pooja Vastrakar.
Meanwhile, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have enlisted Nuzhat Parween to fill in for Asha Sobhana who is also sidelined due to injury.
The third edition of WPL, starting February 14, will be played across several venues in Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

Sisodia's journey to MI and her achievements
A left-arm spinner, Sisodia was signed by the Gujarat Giants in the first WPL edition. She has now been bought by MI for ₹10 lakh.
Sisodia rose to fame for her stellar performances in the recently-concluded ICC Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup, where she was the Player of the Match in the semi-final against England.

Parween's cricketing journey and RCB enlistment
Parween, a wicket-keeper from Railways, has played five WT20Is for India. She will now join the RCB squad for her base price of ₹30 lakh.
She was earlier part of Trailblazers squad at the Women's T20 Challenge.
Parween also represents Madhya Pradesh Women in domestic cricket. She would want to make the most of WPL 2025.

WPL 2024: RCB emerged victorious; MI finished second
The WPL 2025 will kick off with a match between Gujarat Giants and defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru at BCA Stadium in Vadodara on February 14.
In the last season of WPL, RCB became the tournament winners after defeating Delhi Capitals in the final.
Meanwhile, MI finished second on the table with 10 points. They were knocked out in the playoffs after a close defeat to RCB.
