Gujarat Giants reveal official jersey for Women's Premier League 2025

The Gujarat Giants have officially unveiled their team jersey for the upcoming third season of the Women's Premier League (WPL 2025).
The jersey was revealed at a press conference in Ahmedabad, attended by Head Coach Michael Klinger, players Harleen Deol and Shabnam Shakil, and Adani Sportsline's CBO Sanjay Adesara.
The WPL 2025 will kick off on February 14 with matches across Vadodara, Bengaluru, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

Gujarat Giants's coach and players share season ambitions
Addressing the media during the press conference, Head Coach Klinger revealed his team's ambitions for the upcoming season.
He said, "Sharing insights into the team's preparations, he said, "All the players are really excited."
Klinger further added, "We are looking forward to playing some really strong cricket and hopefully qualify for the finals."
He also emphasized that six of their players have gained valuable experience playing in the A team since last WPL season, which will help them this year.
Player comeback
Harleen Deol excited for comeback after injury
India all-rounder Harleen Deol, who missed the last season due to an injury, said she was excited to be back.
She stated, she mentioned, "I missed the last season because of an injury, so l am even more keen to play this edition. I have a lovely memory of scoring my maiden ton in Vadodara."
Despite her past success, Deol stressed on the need to start afresh every day in cricket, saying previous runs don't guarantee future performance.

Shabnam Shakil credits WPL for her growth as a player
Shabnam Shakil, who recently celebrated her second consecutive U19 World Cup win with the Indian team, credited her time with the Gujarat Giants in the WPL for her growth as a player.
She stated, "There have been plenty of learnings with the exposure to experienced players and foreign players. They helped me a lot."
Meanwhile, Shakil thanked Gujarat Giants and WPL for giving her a platform to gain experience and showcase her talent.

The Gujarat Giants will take on defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the WPL 2025 opener on February 14 at BCA Stadium in Vadodara.
They'll be playing before a home crowd for the first time, making the upcoming season even more thrilling.

Although the Gianrs have had difficult seasons, they would be looking to get back in form and win their maiden WPL title.
Meanwhile, in the inaugural season, the Giants finished fifth on the table with just four points, (two wins, six losses).
However, in the last season (2024), they again failed to qualify for the playoffs, finishing last again with four points (two wins, six losses).
