Mumbai Indians (MI) booked a place in the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 final, beating Gujarat Giants (GG) by 47 runs in the Eliminator.
The match was played at Brabourne Stadium on March 13.

Although Danielle Gibson kept the scoreboard ticking with her 34 runs, GG was in trouble at 43/3 after losing Harleen Deol and captain Ashleigh Gardner early on.
The team's hopes were further dashed when Gibson was run out, leaving them staring down defeat at 81/4.

MI's bowlers shine as GG fall short
MI's bowlers, spearheaded by Matthews, who also claimed three wickets, and Amelia Kerr, who picked up two wickets, were instrumental in keeping GG to a mere 166 runs in their innings.
Although Phoebe Litchfield (31 off 20) and Bharati Fulmali (30 off 20) put up a fight, it wasn't enough to save the Giants from a crushing defeat.
