WWE: Women who should be in Money in the Bank
WWE's Money in the Bank 2019 pay-per-view is only three weeks away. While the event would be headlined by the men's ladder match, the women's ladder match too would grab several eyeballs. With Carmella and Alexa Bliss coming out on top over the past two years, let us analyze five women who deserve to be in this match this year.
The Empress of Tomorrow
Asuka is undoubtedly one of the top female superstars in WWE currently. Having lost the SmackDown Women's Championship to Charlotte, right before WrestleMania, she is yet to have another shot at the title. Hence, putting her in the MITB match and making her win would make sense. However, being bonded to tag-team action, could limit her chances of competing and winning.
About time for The Hugger?
It has been over two years since we last saw Bayley as the women's champion. While she has been mostly limited to tag-team action since the past year, as per reports, her partnership with Banks is over now. Further, she fought against Charlotte last week in the Contender's match, which proves that she is likely to be included in the MITB match.
Time for the Eclipse to shine in
It has been over a year since Ember Moon made her main roster debut. However, she is yet to win a title. Her injuries are now behind her, and it is the right time that Ember gets a title shot. Including her in the MITB match makes perfect sense to us. Moreover, making her win would give her career a massive boost.
The Boss is a legit championship material
Although it is unsure if Banks would continue working in WWE, assuming that she continues, she is a no-brainer in the MITB match. Being a four-time women's champion, there is no other woman who deserves to be in MITB more than Banks. Further, now that she is out of the tag-team picture, it is high time that she is reinstated into the singles picture.
Is it finally time for Tamina to shine?
Tamina is one of the big women in WWE. However, critics say that she has been constantly under-utilized by WWE, which is indeed true. Considering that her tag-team partner Nia Jax was utilized properly, Tamina deserves the same treatment as well. Thus, putting her in the MITB match would give her the right platform to set her singles career straight.
Special Mention: WWE seriously need to push Dana
To what many would agree, Dana Brooke is one of the most powerful women in WWE. However, to date, she has mostly been utilized as a jobber. Coming from a body-building background, Dana can squash any of the current women in the roster. Thus, putting her in the MITB match, and actually making her win, would make be perfect for her and WWE.
