India Women rode on centuries from Smriti Mandhana (123) and Harmanpreet Kaur (109) to post a total of 317/8 in 50 overs. In response, the Windies Women started well but lost their way. In the Women's World Cup, Harmanpreet now has 743 runs at 53.07. She struck her third century in the mega event.
Dottin and Matthews achieve these feats
Deandra Dottin smashed 62 from 46 balls, hitting 10 fours and a six. She has gone past the 600-run mark in Women's World Cup (624). This is her fourth World Cup fifty. She has raced to 3,633 runs in ODIs at 30.78. This was her 22nd ODI fifty. Hayley Matthews (46) went past the 1,700-run mark (1,711).
Jhulan Goswami smashes this record
Jhulan Goswami has broken the record for most wickets at the Women's World Cup. She surpassed Australia's Lynn Fullston for the incredible feat. Goswami claimed her 40th wicket of the tournament when she dismissed Anisa Mohammed on two. The Indian pacer reached the feat in her 31st World Cup appearance. Earlier, Fullston had claimed 39 scalps for the Aussies.
