India have claimed their fourth consecutive win against Pakistan in the 2022 Women's World Cup. India also won in 2009 (by 10 wickets), 2013 (by six wickets), and 2017 (by 95 runs), respectively.
Sneh puts up an all-round show
Sneh Rana impressed with her all-round exploits against Pakistan. In the first innings, she came in the middle when India were reduced to 112/5. She shared a 122-run stand with Pooja Vastrakar. It was Sneh's first half-century in One-Day Internationals. She returned unbeaten on 53 off 48 balls (4 fours). Sneh, who bowls off-spin, also took two wickets in the match.
Gayakwad was India's standout bowler
Left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad emerged as India's standout bowler in the match. She snapped up four wickets for 31 runs in 10 overs. Gayakwad raced to 85 wickets in Women's ODIs, becoming the sixth Indian to do so. She averages an incredible 18.98 in the format. Against Pakistan, Gayakwad took her fifth haul of four wickets in ODIs.
