Aryna Sabalenka reached the women's singles final at the 2024 US Open. She beat Emma Navarro with a scoreline of 6-3, 7-6. According to Opta, Sabalenka is now tied for second on the list of active players (women's singles) to reach the most Grand Slam finals, on hard courts, behind Victoria Azarenka (5). Victoria Azarenka
Victoria Azarenka is a three-time US Open finalist (2012, 2013, 2020). Azarenka, who exited the 3rd round at 2024 US Open, owns a 48-17 win-loss record here. Azarenka is also a two-time Australian Open finalist and winner in 2012 and 2013 respectively. They are also her only Grand Slam wins. The Belarusian owns a 163-62 win-loss record at Grand Slams (women's singles).
Aryna Sabalenka
This will be Sabalenka's fourth hard-court final appearance at Grand Slam events, (US Open: 2024, 2023 and AO: 2023, 2024). Sabalenka has won two Australian Open titles. She was a runner-up at the 2023 US Open. Sabalenka is set to face Jessica Pegula at the 2024 US Open final. Sabalenka is only the second woman to make it to back-to-back US Open finals.
Naomi Osaka
Japan's Naomi Osaka has also appeared in four hard-court finals at Grand Slam events, (AO: 2019, 2021 and US Open: 2018, 2020). She has won four different Grand Slams consecutively in four consecutive years (2018-2021). However, Osaka was eliminated in the second round of the 2024 US Open. Osaka owns a 60-22 win-loss record at Slams, including 23-6 at the US Open.
Caroline Wozniacki
Former world number one Caroline Wozniacki stands third in this list with three hard-court finals appearances, (US Open: 2009, 2014 and AO: 2018). Wozniacki has one Grand Slam title (2018 Australian Open). However, she was eliminated in the Round of 16 by Beatriz Haddad Maia at the 2024 US Open. Her win-loss record at Grand Slams read 129-54, including 44-15 at the US Open.
