    What's the story

    Hockey India will be conducting a national camp from May 28 to June 9 for 48 senior women hockey players at the Sports Authority of India centre in Bengaluru.

    Hockey India wants to train its girls ahead of the crucial tour of Spain and FIH Women's World Cup.

    The men's team is also undergoing a national camp in Bengaluru.

    "We will use this camp to further improve our fitness and evaluate the Asian Champions Trophy performance. We will also continue to work closely with the psychologist to improve the mental skills both individually and the team," head coach Sjoerd Marijne said.

    Indian women's team has been performing well in the past few months and ended their Asian Champions Trophy campaign by winning a silver medal.

    Head coach Sjoerd Marijne will look to regroup the girls and assess their performances, form and fitness ahead of the tour of Spain.

    The tour begins on June 10.

    Goalkeepers: Savita, Rajani Etimarpu, Swati, Chanchal, Sonal Minj and Jaspreet.

    Defenders: Deep Grace, Sunita Lakra, Sushila Chanu, Gurjit Kaur, Rashmita Minz, Suman Devi, Deepika, Neelu Dadiya, Mahima Choudhary, Kanika Raj, Manmeet Kaur, Kruthika and Nisha.

    Mid-fielders: Nikki Pradhan, Monika, Lilima Minz, Namita Toppo, Neha Goyal, Udita, Manpreet Kaur, Jyoti, Ramwala Maitri, Anuja Singh, Anajali, Shyama Tidgam, Sonika, Puja Yadav and Karishma Yadav.
