Iranian girls put-up fake beards to sneak into football stadium
What's the story
A footage of five women disguised as men to watch a football game in Iran is doing the rounds on social media.
These women had to fake their gender just to watch the sport they love.
Women are not allowed to enter football stadiums in Iran and this can be considered as a defiance of the strict Islamic law.

Strict religious law
Women have been banned from watching football in Iran
Women have been banned from watching football in Iran since 1979.
But these women sporting fake beards, wigs and men's clothes, sneaked past the security officials at the Tehran's Azadi stadium to support their team, Persepolis.
Persepolis were crowned Persian Gulf Pro League champions.
This may be defying law, but this action has won hearts on social media.

Comes at a price
This brazen defiance could lead to prison sentence
This defiance of the law comes just three weeks after 35 women were arrested for trying to attend the Tehran football derby between Persepolis and Esteghlal.
In 2014 a British-Iranian woman Ghoncheh Ghavami was accused of spreading propaganda and was sentenced to a year in jail after she attended a men's volleyball game.
