Windies were bundled in just 71 deliveries. This is the shortest innings by a Test playing nation in 142 years history of international cricket. West Indies were reduced to 25/6 in the power-play itself. This was only the second time that England managed to pick up six wickets in the power-play in T20Is. The other instance was against Australia in 2005.

This is the lowest score by Windies in T20I cricket. It is also the second lowest score in the history of T20Is after 39 by Netherlands. He now has 46 T20I wickets.

Sam Billings top scored for England with a knock of 87. This was his highest score and his second career T20I fifty. Billings achieved the same at a strike-rate of 185.11. He hit 10 fours and three sixes. Joe Root (55) smashed his fifth career T20I fifty. He went past 800 runs in T20Is (842).
