Messi has scored two hat-tricks in a Champions League season (2011-12 and 2016-17). If he manages to score two hat-tricks this time around, he will be the first player to achieve the feat in three different seasons. This could also be the 12th successive season in which Messi can score 30-plus La Liga goals.
