Manchester United to target Zinedine Zidane if Jose Mourinho departs
Premier League giants Manchester United would target to onboard former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, if current boss Jose Mourinho decides to part ways. A report in The Sun states that the English club have made Zidane as their number one priority as there is fear looming that Mourinho may not serve his remaining two-year contract.
Jose's issues during pre-season worry United
Jose is in his third season with Manchester United and has a contract until 2020. Previously, he has been a victim of 'third year syndrome' and there is a thought that the same could haunt him here at Old Trafford. The issue has already started with Mourinho being frustrated ahead of the new Premier League season. Things are looking edgy currently.
The issues for Jose so far
Mourinho has been complaining a lot and is unhappy at the moment. He criticized skipper Antonio Valencia for holidaying too much. Then there was the jibe at the squad, where he claimed he doesn't have his main team. There is growing concern over lack of signing in the summer. Further, problems have aroused regarding the situation of an 'unhappy' Anthony Martial.
