IPL 2018: How much money will the winning team receive?
The Indian Premier League 2018 final is all set to take place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai with Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad to lock horns against each other. After players raked in the moolah during the auction, there is a huge anticipation as to how much money will the winning team get. Let's have a look at team and individual prizes.
Winner, finalist to get whopping sums
The winning team of the IPL 2018 will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 20 crore. The runner-up will be earning a sum of Rs. 12.5 crore. The respective captains will be handed the cheques. It will be interesting to see which team comes out on top. Besides these two awards, many other categories have been lined up as well.
Individual awards to be presented as well
Most valuable player will receive Rs. 10 lakh. Leading wicket-taker to get Rs. 10 lakh and Purple Cap. Leading run-scorer to get Rs. 10 lakh and Orange Cap. Emerging player will be awarded Rs. 10 lakh and a trophy. Best catch of the season winner will receive Rs. 10 lakh. FBB Stylish player of the season will also be felicitated.
Stadium awards to be given too
Best ground and pitch will be awarded with prizes. Rs. 50 lakh will be presented to the best stadium amongst those which have hosted 7+ matches; Rs. 25 lakh will be given to the best stadium from those which have hosted less than seven matches.
