These were India's top performers in Champions Trophy 2013
What's the story
The 2013 ICC Champions Trophy was a historic one in Indian cricket history as MS Dhoni's men lifted the title for the second time.
The final match against England at Edgbaston was a nail-biter, as it ended with India winning by five runs in a rain-affected game.
Several young guns made their mark during the tournament and powered India to glory.
Here we look at India's key performers in the competition.
Campaign
India's unbeaten run to glory
Shikhar Dhawan (114) starred as India beat South Africa by 26 runs in their opener.
The team then recorded a comfortable eight-wicket win over West Indies thanks to Dhawan's second successive ton and Ravindra Jadeja's fifer.
In their third match against Pakistan, India comprehensively won by eight wickets (D/L method).
They registered another eight-wicket triumph over Sri Lanka in the semi-final. Virat Kohli and Dhawan made fifties.
In the rain-affected final against England, Dhoni's team recorded a five-run win.
Career-defining
Rohit Sharma: A defining moment in his career
The 2013 Champions Trophy changed the fate of Rohit Sharma, who was then battling inconsistency despite showing promise.
Under Dhoni's captaincy, he moved from a middle-order batsman to an opener.
The move worked wonders as Rohit and Shikhar Dhawan stitched important opening partnerships in the tournament.
Rohit eventually became India's second-highest run-scorer in the tournament, scoring 177 runs in five innings at 35.40.
He hammered two fifties.
Kohli's impact
Kohli's stellar performance in the tournament
Already an integral part of India's top order by 2013, Virat Kohli ended as the fifth-highest run-scorer in the tournament.
He scored 176 runs at an average of over 58, including a half-century.
His strike rate was also remarkable at around 95.65 for that time.
A major contribution to India's win was his important 43-run knock in the low-scoring final against England.
He made a match-winning 58* in the semi-final against Sri Lanka as well.
Dhawan
Leading run-getter of the tourney
The tournament also changed Dhawan's fortunes as the southpaw made a successful comeback to the ODI team.
Playing his maiden ICC event, the southpaw hammered tons in his first two games.
With 363 runs from five matches at 90.75, Dhawan finished as the leading run-getter (100s: 2, 50: 1).
Only Chris Gayle (474 in 2006) has scored more runs in a CT edition. Dhawan was also named the Player of the Tournament.
Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja was named the Player of the Final for his all-round performance.
Besides adding 33 with the bat, he claimed two crucial scalps later on.
He also won the Golden Ball for finishing as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament. The left-arm spinner dismissed 12 batters at 12.83.
Ishant Sharma (10 wickets at 21.80) and Ravichandran Ashwin (8 wickets at 22.62) were the other key bowlers.
