Players to watch out for in Friday's blockbuster quarter-final games
The business end of the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2018 has finally arrived. Friday sees two crucial quarter-finals with South American giants Brazil taking on Belgium and France facing an uphill task against Uruguay. All four sides have world class players in their ranks and they will be looking to create an impact. Here are the players to watch out for.
Kylian Mbappe- France
Mbappe played the best international match of his life against Argentina as he scored two goals and played his hand in another. The 19-year-old was an unstoppable force with his pace and skills upfront. On Friday, he will once again look to be influential against an Uruguayan side that boasts of a superb defensive line. Till now, He has scored three goals in Russia.
Luis Suarez- Uruguay
The forward Luis Suarez will have to be in top gear against a powerful French side. With Edinson Cavani likely to miss out due to an injury, Suarez is now Uruguay's heart in attack. The Barcelona striker is a regular goal-scorer and needs the supply from his team-mates to come good. He was instrumental against Portugal and thrived with Cavani upfront.
Philippe Coutinho- Brazil
Till now, Philippe Coutinho has been the best player for Brazil at the ongoing World Cup. Coutinho has been impressive with both goals and assists. He has been the side's focal point and with Neymar picking form, Coutinho could be more lethal when it comes to setting the attacking display. Eden Hazard- Belgium
The Chelsea stalwart Eden Hazard is the crucial force in this Belgium side. He played a key role, against Japan, in assisting Marouane Fellaini with a superb pass for the equalizer. Hazard has already scored two goals in this campaign and his skills in opening up defenses will be vital. Onus also lies on Kevin De Bruyne for setting Hazard up.
