Five best wrestling stables in the world right now
Wrestling stables have been an integral part of wrestling since the early days, and a powerful group can do a lot to boost the ratings and create interesting story-lines. With the earlier path carved by 'The Four Horsemen', stables like Degeneration-X, NWO and Evolution carried the mantle as they scripted several records. Here are the best stables in the world right now.
The New Day one of the best stables in WWE
The team of Kofi Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods has captured the imagination of the WWE universe and is here to stay for long. Their antics are funny and clownish to quite an extent, but all the three members are spectacular performers inside the ring. Wrestling Observer Newsletter named them the Best Gimmick of the Year in 2015.
CHAOS are New Japan's top babyface stable at the moment
CHAOS started off in 2009 with Shinsuke Nakamura as their leader, and the group initially aimed at reviving the Strong Style of wrestling. Over their years of existence, they have been involved in intense feuds with other stables like the Bullet Club and Suzuki-gun. The group is presently led by Kazuchika Okada, who is considered the future icon of Japanese pro-wrestling.
Suzuki-gun: A fearsome stable in the NJPW
Another powerful stable is surely Suzuki-gun. They are presently working in the New Japan Pro-Wrestling. When they invaded Pro-wrestling Noah, another wrestling promotion in Japan, the stable managed to seize all of their championship gold medals. The group is led by Minoru Suzuki and earlier included former WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin. They even have a sub-group within them called the 'Killer Elite Squad'.
The Elite have made a huge name for themselves
The Elite is essentially a sub-group that has branched off from the Bullet Club to form a three-member stable of their own. Members include Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson). The three have held numerous titles across promotions. They have been acclaimed for their performances by the likes of Pro Wrestling Illustrated and Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Bullet Club will be remembered among the GOATs
Bullet Club was the first all-foreigner wrestling stable in NJPW and since its formation in 2013, has become one of the hottest properties in wrestling. The stable has produced some iconic stars like AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, and is currently being led by Cody Rhodes. Bullet Club is being considered the biggest stable in all of pro-wrestling since the days of NWO and DX.
