WI vs IND, T20Is: Rohit to lead visitors; Kohli rested
The BCCI has announced India's T20I squad for the upcoming series against West Indies, starting July 29. West Indies and India will be locking horns in a five-match series after three ODI matches. Virat Kohli has been rested for the series alongside pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Skipper Rohit Sharma is available to lead the side. KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav's inclusion is subject to fitness.

India beat Ireland and England recently in successive T20I series
India beat Ireland 2-0 recently in the T20I series, with Hardik Pandya leading the side. The same squad faced England in the first T20I with Rohit Sharma returning back. Some of the regular players who were involved in the rescheduled Test against England, were drafted into the T20I squad for the second and third encounters. India sealed the T20I series by a 2-1 margin.
Schedule of the T20I series
The first T20I will be played on July 29 in Trinidad. The next two matches will be played at the Warner Park in St Kitts on August 1 and 2 respectively. The two nations will move to Florida next in USA for the remaining matches to be played on August 6 and 7 at Lauderhill. All matches will start at 8:00 PM IST.
Kohli not a part of the T20I squad
It was already reported earlier that Virat Kohli wasn't going to be part of the T20I series against WI. having been rested for the ODIs as well. Kohli played two T20Is versus England but missed the first ODI with a groin injury.

Dhawan to lead India in the ODI series
Shikhar Dhawan will be leading India in the upcoming ODI series against WI. The squad was picked last Wednesday. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja will be Dhawan's deputy in the series. Meanwhile, senior players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, and Rishabh Pant have been rested.
