Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will be parting ways with the club after 22-long years and with no job in hand right now he will have plenty of time on hand to complete his travel goals. In a major boost for football fans in India, the Frenchman has revealed that he remains fascinated by India and plans to visit the nation soon.
Wenger was keen on bringing Arsenal to India
In an interview with Arsenal Media, the 68-year-old revealed that he wants to visit India. Despite Arsenal having a huge fan base in India, Wenger did never get an opportunity to visit the country. The Frenchman claimed he remains captivated by Gandhian philosophy of non-violence. Further, he is fascinated with the cultural hotspot that the nation is.
Wenger reveals his dream of visiting culture rich India
"I am fascinated by India but I don't really know why. I have never been to India, but I have always encouraged Arsenal to organise tours in India. We were close a few times but it never happened...I will visit India," Wenger said.
