    What's the story

Saturday's power-packed weekend football action was a treat for the fans as the European big guns were in action in their respective league games.

In La Liga, Real put six goals past Celta Vigo and looked in a cruise mode.

Inter Milan's Champions League dream faded as they lost in the Serie A.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain faced defeats.

    Here is the round-up.

Bale scores a brace as Real dominate proceedings

Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 6-0 after a brace from Welshman Gareth Bale.

The player's future has been in discussion since quite some time, but performances like these give manager Zinedine Zidane the confidence to trust him more.

This was a perfect warm-up match for Real before their Champions League final against Liverpool on May 26.

Real are third in La Liga table.

This was their first home league loss in 42 games.

Monaco beat Saint-Etienne 1-0 at home.
