Don't speculate about Dhoni's future, wait till IPL: Ravi Shastri
It has been more than four months since former Indian skipper MS Dhoni last played an international match. A lot of rumors are doing the rounds, on the possibility of him playing the ICC World T20. As the speculations don't seem to die, Team India head coach Ravi Shastri recently opened up about Dhoni's future. Here is what he said.
Shastri wants everyone to wait till IPL
Speaking on the same, Shastri said that it all depends on when Dhoni returns to competitive cricket, while his performance in the IPL would also matter a lot. He added that the performance of other wicket-keepers would also be considered. "The IPL becomes a massive tournament because that could be the last tournament after which more or less your 15 is decided," he said.
Team can only be decided after IPL 2020, feels Shastri
"There might be one player who might be there and thereabouts in case of an injury or whatever. But, your team I would say would be known after the IPL," added Shastri, as reported by IANS.
