Virat Kohli shares his fitness regime on Twitter
What's the story
Indian skipper Virat Kohli is considered to be one of the fittest cricketers in the world.
He is, once again, keeping himself on top of his game by training hard in the gym.
The cricketer is gearing up for the upcoming tour of UK where India would face Ireland and England.
Kohli, who is recovering from a neck injury, shared details of his session.
Regime
Details of Kohli's fitness regime
Kohli knows how to keep up with the demands of modern day cricket.
He took to Twitter to share his regime, which consists of a lot of band work. This aids in lower body strengthening.
From lateral band work, monster walk and running 16 km/hr on the treadmill (80 metres x 12), Kohli did it all.
There was a 15-second break between each stride.
Issues
Injury issues and County Cricket blow
Kohli suffered an injury in the recently Indian Premier League 2018.
This injury stopped him from playing in County Championship for Surrey.
Kohli's neck injury is being closely monitored by BCCI.
Kohli had spent few hours in BKC's indoor facility this month, for two weeks, to recover.
He recently passed the Yo-Yo endurance test and is fit to play against Ireland and England.

Kohli has been playing non-stop cricket
In the last 12 months, Kohli has played 9 out of 10 Tests which India have played, 29 of 32 ODIs, 9 of 18 T20Is.
Overall, he has featured in 47 international matches.
The non-stop cricket is taking a toll on his body. Even Kohli had acknowledged this fact when he decided to skip the Nidahas Trophy.
His fitness regime is the right answer.
