Kohli will be looking to set the bar high
Kohli is crucial to India's chances as India embark on a three-month long tour. He has shown, once again, that his fitness level is on top gear as the skipper passed the Yo-Yo endurance test in Bengaluru. Notably, Virat Kohli had a disastrous tour of England last time, scoring 134 Test runs at 13.40 average. He will be looking to set this record straight.
One-month long break has helped Kohli
Kohli stated that the one-month break from cricket helped him mentally. He is really excited to get back on to the field and added that staying away from cricket has given him the freshness and desire.
Whatever happened was the best thing for me: Kohli
The neck injury stopped him from playing the County Championship for Surrey. During this break, Kohli was monitored by BCCI. Kohli had spent few hours in an indoor facility which helped him recover. He stated that, in hindsight, whatever happened was the best thing and he is now going to England with a fit body as well as a fresh mind.
