Barcelona snap up mid-field maestro Arturo Vidal
What's the story
Spanish giants Barcelona have reached an agreement, with Bayern Munich, to acquire the services of 31-year-old mid-field maestro Arturo Vidal.
Vidal will undergo medical in coming weeks, after he agreed to a three-year contract at the Nou Camp.
The Chile international stayed three years in Germany with Bayern Munich.
The Bavarian giants confirmed that the player has left for Barcelona.

Vidal is set to add a lot of flair and dynamism to the Barca mid-field that already boasts of players like Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Denis Suarez and Andre Gomes.
He is set to play a pivotal role in a three-man mid-field under coach Ernesto Valverde.
Vidal has won a host of trophies in his career and brings in that winning mentality.

Vidal is seen as a direct replacement of Paulinho, who left the club after just one season. The Brazilian had a major say last term and helped Barca win the double. Vidal is expected to fill in and provide the desire impact needed.

The former Juventus player is a serious match-winner at both club and country level.
In his illustrious career, he has won 13 trophies in Italy and Germany with Juventus and Bayern respectively.
His experience is telling with 458 club matches so far that also includes a spell at Bayer Leverkusen.
He scored 48 goals for Juventus and another 22 for Bayern.
