Chris Gayle has 3,994 runs in the IPL. He needs only six more to surpass the 4,000-run mark in the tournament. Gayle can join an illustrious list of players, who have gone past this mark. Sunrisers Hyderabad's David Warner (4,014) is the only foreigner who has scored 4,000-plus runs. Gayle alongside AB de Villiers (3,953) can join Warner and create history.

The West Indian cricketer needs 26 boundaries to get to 350 fours in the IPL. He needs 11 more to surpass Virender Sehwag (334 fours). Gayle has six tons and could extend his lead atop this season.
