Jamaican legendary sprinter Usain Bolt surprised everyone on his maiden start for Australian football side Central Coast Mariners by netting in two goals for them during a friendly. The world-record holding sprinter is considered one of the best athletes in the history. He has always been candid about his love for football and is now proving it on-field.

Bolt scored spectacular goals

Bolt started against Macarthur South West and played as a center forward, scoring first in the 53rd and again in the 68th minute. His first goal was a masterful finish as he picked up a cross, went past a defender and netted in a left-footed finish from a tight angle. The second goal was a tap-in when the opponents made a defensive error.

Struggles

Bolt had earlier admitted to facing struggles adjusting to football

The athlete had earlier admitted that he was not used to the stop-start format of football, and was taking time to adjust to the format. In his own words, "I'm not used to picking up speed, going back down, then back again". However, now he seems to have gotten the hang of things and is reaping the rewards of his hard work.
