But now, all seems to be going downhill for the Frenchman. Pogba and Mourinho have reportedly fallen out and Manchester United are looking to sell the midfielder to fund their summer overhaul.

Pogba started the season brilliantly but in recent months, he has been benched for several crucial Champions League and Premier League games. Mourinho and Pogba were seen arguing during United's loss to Tottenham almost a month ago. Even his team-mates are angry with Pogba, who reportedly spends a lot of time on social media instead of concentrating on his football.

If Kroos and Varane are not interested in moving to England, then PSG's Italian midfield ace Marco Verratti and Brazilian center-back Marquinhos are the next best options in the eyes of Mourinho.
