David Beckham set to receive UEFA President's Award
Former England captain and Manchester United winger David Beckham will be honored with the UEFA President's Award for his contribution to football over the years. Beckham's career at Manchester United
Beckham was a product of Manchester United's youth academy and played successfully at the club, winning 6 EPL titles. He was also a part of the famous Manchester United squad that won the treble in the 1998-99 season. From early on in his career, he received wide praise for his perfect spot-kicks, crosses and corners. In 2003, Ferguson sold him to Real Madrid.

Beckham was the final addition to Florentino Perez's Galacticos team, with Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, and Roberto Carlos already in the squad. He performed successfully at Real, even scoring a few minutes into his debut. He won La Liga as well as the Supercopa with the Madrid side. After Real, he also had stints with LA Galaxy, Paris-Saint Germain, and AC Milan.
