U-19 cricket star Manjot Kalra to undergo age test again
What's the story
Despite being cleared by the BCCI, India's U-19 cricketer Manjot Kalra was directed to undergo another age verification test, by the DDCA (Delhi & District Cricket Association).
DDCA administrator has initiated the age verification process for all the eligible U-19 players, a week before the domestic season kicks off.
This comes after multiple complaints were lodged of Kalra fudging his age.

The development comes after Kalra was selected as the Delhi U-19 team's captain. The same was uploaded on DDCA's website and has now been taken off.

Manjot Kalra is a left-handed batsman from Delhi who represents the Delhi U-19 and India U-19 teams.
During India's recent tour to England, the youngster scored a century.
Kalra, along with Prithvi Shaw and Shubhman Gill, is considered to be among the best of U-19 Indian players, training under Rahul Dravid.
He would play 2018 Junior World Cup in all likelihood.
Age fudging
What's the allegation?
Kalra provided his date of birth as 15th January 1999 and supported it with his CBSE class X certificate, passport copy and pan card. Based on this, BCCI had cleared him earlier.
However, few disgruntled parents produced documents according which Kalra's date of birth is 15 January 1998.
Further, an FIR filed by former cricketer Kirti Azad in the matter, remains pending.
