The left-arm pacer dismissed former MI skipper Rohit Sharma in the first over to gain impetus. This marked Boult's 26th wicket in the first over of an IPL innings, now the most by a bowler in this regard.
Boult goes past Bhuvneshwar Kumar
As mentioned, Boult now has the most wickets in the first over of an IPL innings. He has 26 wickets in this regard at an average of 17.65. He broke a tie with India's Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who owns 25 first-over scalps in the IPL. No other bowler has more than 20 wickets, with Praveen Kumar (15) following Bhuvi.
Boult once again dismisses Rohit
Boult once again outclassed Rohit, who got caught behind the wicket while playing a rash stroke.
