Football Transfers: Ronaldo wants Marcelo to join him at Juventus
Ronaldo wants to take his best friend, from Real Madrid, to Juventus while Chelsea are looking to sabotage Manchester City's party. Courtois is keen to leave Chelsea while Barcelona are shopping for mid-field reinforcements. Arsenal, on the other hand, are planning to bring Sevilla star to the Emirates. Here is all the gossip from today's Euro papers.
Arsenal interested in Nzonzi
Arsenal are reportedly keen on bringing Sevilla mid-fielder Steven Nzonzi to the Emirates. The French international has been a long-standing target of Arsenal. And new coach Unai Emery is excited to bring the player, with whom he has previously worked, to London. Nzonzi is currently on World Cup duties, so this deal would take time to materialize.
Ronaldo wants Marcelo to join Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo is heading out of Real Madrid and now he is hoping his best mate, Marcelo, will follow him to Juventus. Notably, the Portuguese superstar is close to a €100 million move to Turin. CR7 has already asked Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri if the Brazil international could be signed by the Bianconeri. If this deal happens, it would be a massive coup.
Chelsea to hijack City's Jorginho bid
Chelsea are keen to spoil Manchester City's party. They are looking to snatch Napoli mid-fielder Jorginho from right under the nose of Pep. Manchester City have already finalized the deal to take the Italy international to the Etihad stadium, but Chelsea have tabled a €60 mn offer. The new offer could force Napoli to halt the move.
Courtois keen to move to Madrid
Thibaut Courtois is determined to move to Real Madrid this summer. The Chelsea ace is even willing to take a pay cut to facilitate this move. His family is based out of Madrid and the Chelsea custodian has regularly expressed his desire to head back to Madrid, especially, after a number of loan spells at Atletico Madrid.
Eriksen on Barcelona shortlist
Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen is one of the primary targets of Barcelona this summer. The Spanish giants are looking to part ways with Paulinho this summer. They will look to replace him with Eriksen, United's Paul Pogba, Miralem Pjanic or Paris Saint-Germain's Marco Verratti.
