On the other hand, Manchester United's star wants to head to the Camp Nou to fill Iniesta's shoes. Here are the top transfer rumors from today's Euro papers
Sarri appointed Chelsea's manager
Chelsea have confirmed the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as Antonio Conte's successor at Stamford Bridge. Conte was sacked, on Friday, after being paid a £9 million severance package. Former Napoli boss, Sarri, was being linked with a move to London for months. His appointment means several players from Napoli are likely to play for Chelsea, this summer.
Chelsea sign Napoli's Jorginho for £57 mn
Chelsea have snatched Jorginho from right under the noses of Manchester City and presented him as a welcome gift for their new manager Maurizio Sarri. Jorginho was the main architect of Sarri's Napoli and he has signed a 5-year deal with the Blues. Pep Guardiola had almost signed the player earlier but he decided to move to Chelsea over Manchester City.
Chelsea considering Morata-Higuain swap
Chelsea have opened talks with Juventus over a potential swap deal involving Alvaro Morata and Gonzalo Higuain. Morata has endured a poor term ever since his switch to Stamford Bridge, while Higuain could be on the move after Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo. Sarri sees Higuain as his top target and Juventus would be happy to sell him.
Barcelona want N'Golo Kante
Barcelona have set their eyes on Chelsea's mid-field ace N'Golo Kante. The French mid-field dynamo is, undoubtedly, one of the best players in the world in his position, right now and he could be a World Cup winner in a few hours. With Iniesta and Paulinho no more with the club, Barca are looking to fill the void and Kante ticks all the boxes.
Pogba offered to Barcelona
Super Agent Mino Raiola, who represents Paul Pogba, has reportedly offered the mid-field maestro to Barcelona. Notably, he is unhappy with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. Pogba has expressed his desire to fill Iniesta's shoes in Barcelona's mid-field. The 25-year-old French international is currently focusing on the World Cup final.
