Manchester United join Ronaldo race
Manchester United are looking at outbidding Juventus to the signature of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The Red Devils have, time and again, been associated with the player. United believe that they can convince him to return to Old Trafford, where he had a successful stint. United are also interested in Willian but they are not willing to match Chelsea's £70 million demand.
Barcelona make an improved Willian bid
Barca have made another offer for Chelsea's mid-fielder Willian. Notably, Barca's €57 million bid was turned down by the Blues. Barca manager Ernesto is keen on bringing Willian to the Camp Nou. He wants to link him up with his Brazil international team-mate Philippe Coutinho. However, Chelsea are unlikely to sell their star as they value him in the region of £70 million.
Liverpool want Dybala
Liverpool have contacted Juventus to enquire about the availability of Paulo Dybala. Jurgen Klopp is hoping that Dybala would be available, if Ronaldo completes his move to Juventus. Klopp is willing to make an 'attractive' bid for the Argentine. However, certain reports also claim that Paulo Dybala could be heading to Madrid in a swap deal.
Buffon to complete PSG move
According to reports in France, Italy's veteran goal-keeper Gianluigi Buffon will undergo his Paris Saint-Germain medical on Friday. The reports, further, state that Buffon will be officially announced a Paris Saint-Germain player, on Monday, when he will be presented to the media. Buffon is a free agent after his contract with Juventus expired at the end of June.
Liverpool make Shaqiri offer
Liverpool have made a £13.5 million for Stoke City's Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri. Manchester United are also interested in the player. He is available this summer as his contract allows him to leave if his club is relegated. Shaqiri has been impressive for his country at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
