One of the finest pace bowlers in modern day cricket, Josh Hazlewood has been a crucial member of Australia's pace attack over the last few years. The right arm speedster is one of the most economical bowlers in world cricket. Known for his accuracy and discipline, Hazlewood has a healthy average of 24.35 and has claimed 37 wickets in T20 cricket.
Former Sri Lanka captain
Sri Lankans have always been a hit at the IPL auction, barring this edition. But Upul Tharanga has never played an IPL game in his lengthy career so far. The 32-year-old southpaw has scored 2,231 runs including 15 half centuries at an average of 27.20 and a strike rate of 125.26 in T20 cricket.
South Africa's 'Big Vern'
South African, all-rounder Vernon Philander is well known for his subtle variations and is one of the best pacers across the globe. In 101 T20 games, Philander has bagged 79 wickets at an average of 30 and an economy of 7.89. The right-handed player has also scored 862 runs at an average of 24.62 at a strike rate of 134.89.
