Pro Kabaddi League franchises splashed big bucks at the auction to build their squads. The auction was held in Mumbai on May 30 and 31. For the first time in the history of the league, the bid price crossed the Rs. 1 crore mark. Over 200 players were drafted into the 12 teams. Here are the top buys of 2018 auction.
Monu Goyat to Haryana Steelers
Haryana Steelers decided to make Monu Goyat the highest paid player in Pro Kabaddi League. They paid a whopping sum of Rs. 1.51 crore for the services of the raider. In 39 matches, Monu has managed 250 raid points at an average of 6.41 points per game. He has completed a 'Super 10' on 9 occasions. His base-price was set at Rs. 20 lakh.
Rahul Chaudhari to Telugu Titans
Telugu Titans sealed a deal to secure the services of Rahul Chaudhary using the 'Final Bid Match' for Rs. 1.29 crore, more than six times his base price of Rs. 20 lakh. Chaudhari has played 79 matches. In these matches, he has accumulated a total of 666 raid points and averages 8.43 points per game. Chaudhari has 32 'Super 10s' under his belt.

Rishank Devadiga to UP Yoddha
