Champions Trophy: Tom Latham floors Pakistan with 8th ODI hundred

New Zealand's Tom Latham has smashed a brilliant century against Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 opener on Wednesday in Karachi.
Latham arrived in the middle when his side was 73/3 in the 17th over.
Thereafter, he built a stunning 118-run stand alongside centurion Will Young.
After Young's departure, Latham and Glenn Phillips added an 125-run stand. NZ scored 321/4 (50 overs).

Latham completed 2,000 runs in away (home of opposition) ODIs during the match. He needed just 31 runs to achieve this landmark. As per ESPNcricinfo, Latham became the fifth Kiwi batter to surpass 2,000 away ODI runs, achieving the milestone in 60 innings.
