#GamingBytes: 5 tips to win PUBG match from top 10
PUBG or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds provides one of the most tactical experiences in the Battle Royale genre. Due to its competitive nature, survival, and shooting mechanics, gamers might struggle to win chicken dinner. We provided tips to survive a PUBG match, but the gameplay is really different once players get to the top 10. Read about how to win PUBG matches from top 10.
Victory is within your reach
In the top 10, you are faced against the best players in that match. They have strategies and good aim. General tricks of survival will not be enough to grab that chicken dinner. You have to be at your best during the final moments.
The two sides of the playzone
By the time matches get to top 10, being caught outside the playzone deals extremely heavy damage. That said, it is advisable to start moving into the playzone at the last possible moment. Players rushing in earlier can be intercepted by enemies, or find themselves sandwiched between waiting and approaching players. Conversely, late entries mean players don't need to worry about checking their rear.
No one will heal your wounds
In the final 10, it is important to remember that weapons are not the only things you looted in-game. The healing items come handy as you should face every battle on full health. Whenever, you are camping and notice that your health is not at full, apply bandages or consume energy drinks to be at your physical sharpest.
Make your bullets count
In the top 10, if you see your opposition at a distance where you do not have a clear shot, do not give away your position by shooting. Instead, mark their location and use this information to devise a strategy, giving you an upper hand in later encounters. Furthermore, if you are shooting, use suppressed weapons so you don't give away your position.
Don't engage unless provoked, but engage aggressively
In the final 10, as throughout the entire game, it is best not to engage unless provoked, or absolutely sure of winning the fire-fight. Towards the game's end, against pro players, it is best to only go for the final 1v1 engagement because only the last shot counts. However, if opponents force you to engage, don't hesitate and show aggressive gameplay.
Slow and steady gets the chicken dinner
From the final 10, PUBG becomes more of a waiting game than headlong action. Find some cover, wait out while encountering opponents take out each other. Moreover, the lesser movement you make, the quieter and more undetectable you are. If you have to move, use short bursts of speed between two strategic areas, instead of running around on the open ground.
