Rohit's efforts go in vain
CSK managed 206/4 as Ruturaj Gaikwad smoked 69 and added 90 runs alongside Shivam Dube (66*). MI openers Rohit Sharma (105*) and Ishan Kishan added 70 runs before Matheesha Pathirana took two wickets in the same over. Rohit rebuilt the innings with a 50-run stand with Tilak Varma (31). Although centurion Rohit continued to bat well at one end, MI were restricted to 186/6.
