Wrestlers who can become WWE's face in absence of Reigns
Roman Reigns, recently, announced his temporary retirement to fight leukemia. In the absence of the 'Big Dog', WWE needs a face who can be its biggest star. Reigns was given the baton, after John Cena, to become the company's face. Legends like Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels, and Stone Cold have held this position earlier. Here are five wrestlers who can take up this mantle.
Big E can be remodeled and made the face
Big E, the former Intercontinental champion, is now a part of The New Day. He is seeing unprecedented success and popularity in the WWE. He was brought in as an unstoppable force and can be remodeled as such to provide a formidable challenge to Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman. A break-up within The New Day and E's eventual ascension can become quite interesting.
Aleister Black can become WWE's babyface hero
Black is among the most popular NXT stars right now. He has a unique gimmick, themed on death metal music and the culture around it, and can be a fresh addition to WWE. Black has unique finishes inside the ring, and his set of moves are quite unconventional than any average wrestler. He can become a superstar if given a little push.
Drew McIntyre has long been toiling for a proper chance
Drew McIntyre has all attributes to ascend the cards at WWE. He has the looks, the size to convince Vince McMahon, and the required experience inside the WWE ring. Currently, he is working as Dolph Ziggler's henchman, but considering his qualities, WWE should give him a singles push. However, it remains to be seen how fans respond to his sudden change of gimmick.
Kenny Omega can be brought in from NJPW
If reports are to believed, Kenny Omega's contract at New Japan Pro-Wrestling is expiring soon, and this will be the right time for WWE to cash in on him. Omega is a proven top-bracket wrestler, and an immediate push to the top with a feud against AJ Styles can blow off the rating charts considering both being former leaders of the famed Bullet Club.
The Architect is the best option
WWE should finally do what they should have done initially- give Seth Rollins the final push. Rollins can do everything- he has the best on-mic skills among the current roster, immense wrestling prowess. Further, he always has been the best character among Shield members. With Ambrose betraying him and Reigns out for now, Rollins should finally get his WrestleMania headlining moment.
