Former Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, who saw his side West Bromwich Albion get relegated from the Premier League, has agreed to join Leicester City. The Foxes have agreed to pay his clause of £3.5 million in two installments, as per reports. Evans is expected to complete a move in the next 48 hours. Both Arsenal and City missed out on him last season.
Will Liverpool activate Shaqiri's clause?
Jurgen Klopp wants to further bolster his Liverpool squad and is seeking depth in key areas. Klopp has identified Xherdan Shaqiri as a potential new signing, following Stoke City's relegation. Pascal Gross will be staying at Brighton after signing a new deal until June 2022. He was the club's Player of the Season and also scored the goal that helped his side beat Manchester United. The player said he was pleased to extend a deal.
