#GamingBytes: Tom Clancy's Division 2 gets new map and gameplay
Ubisoft presented Tom Clancy's Division 2 at the PAX West. The live stream showed new gameplay and it also introduced a new map. The gameplay was from the demo which can be played on the show floor in the Ubisoft booth at PAX. The game, itself, will be available from March 15, 2019. Read to know more about the trailer.
What is Division all about?
Tom Clancy's Division sets the protagonist as a government agent. He is a part of a task force, whose duty it is to contain a smallpox pandemic outbreak, and battle the criminal activities. An excellent online co-op game, the immersive maps set this game apart.
The seat of apocalyptic power
The second game is set in Washington DC, and unlike New York, this significantly changes the gameplay. Firstly, the world of DC is much more open and these spaces give gamers different approaches to breaching a place. Additionally, the realistic trailer shows nature would reclaim things after a pandemic outbreak. The addition of known landmarks like White House and Capitol adds more flavor.
Take your guns to town
The gameplay showed character specializations where weapons gain the center of attention. Additionally, character progression and approach to missions would be different. The weapon classes discussed were a sniper rifle for a sharpshooter specialization and a grenade launcher for a demolition specialization. A crossbow with exploding arrows would be the other central weaponry. Both the smooth gameplay and realistic shooting promise a great experience!
