Canadian teenage sensation Bianca Andreescu stunned Serena Williams to win the US Open 2019.
This was her maiden Grand Slam victory.
The 19-year-old sealed the women's singles event with a 6-3, 7-5 victory over the 23-time Slam winner.
This was 15th seed Andreescu's maiden main draw qualification at the Flushing Meadows and she came out with flying colors.

Andreescu became the first Canadian to win a Grand Slam.
She also is the first teenager to win a Grand Slam since Maria Sharapova claimed the 2006 title at Flushing Meadows.
The fearless tennis star is also the first teenager to win a maiden Slam since Russian Sharapova at Wimbledon in 2004.
Sharapova had beaten Serena 15 years ago for the title.

Andreescu becomes fourth different women's Slam winner in 2019
The Canadian tennis player started her career with a perfect 7-0 record against top 10 opposition in the sport.
With this win against Serena, she has zoomed to an 8-0 tally.
Her win also ensured that this year in women's singles there were four different Slam champions.
Naomi Osaka (Australian Open), Ashleigh Barty (French Open), Simona Halep (Wimbledon) were the other three winners.
