Despite England's "Bazball" approach giving them a name for aggressive cricket, they are now behind India when it comes to six-hitting this year. India are currently leading the sixes chart with 90+ maximums, followed by England with 89 (2023). Notably, India also hammered 87 Test maximums in 2021. On Day 4 of the ongoing 2nd Test, India recorded the fastest-ever team 200 in Test history (24.2 overs). Earlier in the day, the hosts also scripted the fastest team 50, 100, and 150.
