Dhananjai is Indian Cricket Team's new video analyst
Team India has opted to make a last minute change in its support staff ahead of the tour of South Africa. Analyst CKM Dhananjai has been brought back into the setup for the crucial tour against the Proteas. Dhananjai replaces Ashish Tulli as the video analyst. Dhananjai has also previously worked with Team India.
Who is CKM Dhananjai?
Dhananjai is the vice-president of SportsMechanics, a technology and analytics company based out of Chennai. S Ramakrishnan, Team India's first analyst, is the founder and CEO of the company. SportsMechanics has provided analytics support to several sports teams including Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, RCB, CSK, KKR, Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians.
Dhananjai's second stint with Team India
Dhananjai first joined Team India as the analyst in 2007. He was with the side when India triumphed in the ICC World Twenty20 in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2011, the Champions Trophy in 2013 and when MS Dhoni led India to the pinnacle of test rankings in 2009. He stepped down from his post as India's video analyst in 2014.
