IND vs SL: Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Chahar out of T20Is
Suryakumar Yadav will not feature in the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka. According to a report in Cricbuzz, Suryakumar has picked a hand injury. He is the second player to get ruled out of Sri Lanka T20Is. Earlier, Deepak Chahar was ruled out of Lucknow and Dharamsala T20I games due to a hamstring injury he picked against West Indies.
Why does this story matter?
Surya was seen practicing with the team in Lucknow recently. But, he will not feature in the white-ball series against SL after suffering a hairline fracture on his hand and subsequently getting declared unfit. The source of Suryakumar's injury is yet to be known. As of Deepak, he suffered the injury after dismissing WI openers Kyle Mayers and Shai Hope in the 3rd T20I.
Will BCCI name a replacement for the duo?

The T20I tournament opener between the two nations will be played on Thursday and a replacement at this stage is not a possibility due to logistical issues in the wake of bio-security protocols.
