IPL: SRH beat KXIP, who is the winner and sinner?
Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Kings XI in match number 25 of 2018 Indian Premier League. The win helped SRH go second in the table after clinching a fifth victory in seven matches. Ankit Rajpoot's five-for had jolted the hosts as they could only manage 132/6. However, KXIP failed to get past the line and Sunrisers won by 13 runs. Here is the winner and sinner.
Rashid Khan is winner of the game
Rashid was once again absolutely fantastic, as he did the job for his side with another superb spell. Unlike the last game against KXIP, this time he bowled like a genius to show he is back in the business. Dot balls, wickets and aggression, Rashid had everything in his kitty. The key wickets of KL Rahul and Karun Nair make him the winner.
Manoj Tiwary is sinner of the game
Brought in the place of Yuvraj Singh, the experienced campaigner was expected to prove his mettle. But Tiwary failed to do justify his spot and perished rather sheepishly. One run off five balls saw him play a 'nothing' shot and he ended up giving a catch to Kane Williamson. Tiwary needed to bat till the end after Aaron Finch's dismissal but he couldn't deliver.
Stat attack- SRH vs KXIP
Ankit Rajpoot's 5/14 is the second best spell by an Indian pacer in IPL. The best performance was achieved by Ishant Sharma (5/12) versus Kochi in 2011. SRH spinners have the best economy rate in IPL. Chris Gayle hit his 286th six in IPL history.
