Mourinho trains in park, Tottenham issue social distancing reminder
Tottenham Hotspur players have been reminded of their responsibilities during the coronavirus lockdown after some were spotted flouting social distancing rules. Manager Jose Mourinho was seen working in a public park with mid-fielder Tanguy Ndombele. The EPL has been suspended since mid-March due to the pandemic. People can only go outside for food and health reasons. Here's more.
Spurs players seen training outside
Besides training with Ndombele on Hadley Common, the likes of Davinson Sanchez and Ryan Sessegnon were seen running side by side in the same public park in north London. Meanwhile, Spurs full-back Serge Aurier also posted a video of himself jogging alongside another person on Instagram. Players went on to misuse the guidelines which saw Spurs giving a reminder.
What are the guidelines?
Besides going outside for food, health reasons or work if you cannot do it from home, individuals are also allowed to go for a walk or exercise outdoors once a day if adhering to social distancing guidelines. However, there should be a gap of more than two metres unless with members of the same household.
