What's the story
Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced the schedule for its men's and women's senior teams for the 2025/26 home season.
The announcement comes as both teams gear up to compete in the ICC Men and Women's T20 World Cup 2026.
Both teams finished as runners-up in their respective tournaments last year.
Notably, the Proteas Women will also feature in the ICC ODI World Cup 2025 this year.
Additionally, no Tests have been added to the teams' home schedule.
Fixtures
Men's team to face West Indies
The SA men's team will start the season with a five-match T20I series against the West Indies, beginning January 27, 2026.
The matches will be played at different venues, including Boland Park, Newlands Cricket Ground, Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium, SuperSport Park, and DP World Wanderers Stadium.
These fixtures will set the tone for an exciting home season in South Africa.
Women's fixtures
Women's team to face Ireland and Pakistan
The SA women's team will also be busy during this time, with three T20Is each against Ireland and Pakistan.
The first series is scheduled for December 2025, while the second will be played in February 2025.
After the T20I matches, the South African women will play an ODI series against the two teams.
ODI matches
ODI series to follow T20Is
As mentioned, the Proteas women's team will play an ODI series against Ireland and Pakistan, following their T20I series.
The ODIs against Ireland will be played on December 13, 16, and 19 in 2025 at Buffalo Park Cricket Stadium, St George's Park, and DP World Wanderers Stadium respectively.
The ODIs against Pakistan will be played on February 23, 25, and March 1 in 2025 at Mangaung Oval, SuperSport Park, and Kingsmead Stadium respectively.
