MSK Prasad
MSK Prasad was under the scanner
MSK Prasad was selected as BCCI chief selector on September 21, 2016.
He faced constant criticisms of late especially after the confusion surrounding the number four batsman in the ODI set-up.
That was evident in the 2019 World Cup as well.
The choices of players and constant changes in the ranks saw MSK being criticized.
Many questioned his take on MS Dhoni as well.
Salary
Salary of selectors could be hiked
The NIE report adds that the BCCI found few takers as many declined to apply for the selection committee job when the board contacted them over the past month.
There is a possibility that the salary of selectors will now be increased at the AGM to attract more candidates.
The range could be between Rs. 1.5 crore to Rs. 2 crore for the chief.
