He underwent an emergency surgery on Saturday after suffering a brain haemorrhage. 76-year-old Sir Alex is the most successful manager in English football; he won 38 trophies during his 26-year stint with the Red Devils.

As per reports in the Mail Online, Sir Alex has come out of coma. He is showing promising signs following the haemorrhage. The publication further states he underwent a successful surgery and is responding well to the treatment. The recovery will take time and he is carefully being monitored by a team of doctors.

The 76-year-old has been in the ICU ever since suffering a brain haemorrhage this weekend. Sir Alex had to undergo a brain surgery a few days ago and the Scot has started to show progressive signs just two days after his surgery.
